This past week’s show is finally up. I had a wierd snafu where the machine I recorded the podcast on must have encoded the stereo in a way that the machine I do the editing on can’t handle. I had to do a lot of messing around to extract the stereo tracks on one machine and import them onto the other machine. I decided to not use true stereo and instead there is a slight panning effect on our voices to add some depth.
Also, the intro/outro music by Big Nixon sounds a lot better now. It’s in stereo with a much higher bitrate finally. Big thanks to Big Nixon for giving us permissions to use the tracks.
