This program explores the lives of two young missionaries from the Church of Later Day Saints. Their church doctrine is not discussed, but rather it’s a look at the day to day life of a Mormon missionary. Most people know them as the young people who come knocking on your door. But have you ever wondered what it’s like to spend two years in a very regimented life, facing rejection and hostility on a daily basis seven days a week for two years? We think you’ll be quite surprised at the attitude and outlooks of these two Mormon missionaries as we explore another portrait in This American Landscape.
The missionaries are Elder Hale and Elder McBride who are assigned to Columbia County, New York.
